A gate is a Uniswap V4 pool running the Weir hook. It reads the NYSE calendar on chain and charges one fee while stocks trade and another when they do not, adds a surge fee to anyone reversing a same-block move, and can pay its curator a cut of every swap. Anyone can open one for any pair in a single transaction.

You become the gate's curator and can retune its fees later within the hook's caps (LP fee up to 10%, surge up to 5%, curator fee up to 1%), or lock it forever. Opening a gate sets the price only. Seed it with a ladder from the token page; after that the vault takes one-token deposits too.
Swappers pay 0.05% while the market is open and 0.5% while it is closed, plus up to 1% when reversing a same-block move. LP fees go to liquidity providers.
